Happy New Year!
2004 was a good year on the whole for me: a few curve balls here and there but generally full of love and wonder, and I feel like I'm going in a good direction with myself and learning to trust my intuition more, which is an ability/orientation that's important to me and has led to some choices and paths which I was happy with later.
Had some frustration yesterday and today... Got all fired up about the possibility of finishing a particular project with the end of the old year, only to be thwarted by technology. Tried to solve the problem at source; failed (so far at least). Planned to do a workaround, but as the dimensions of the bug/behaviour became clearer, the workaround got more and more excessively complex and ludicrous! so have given up on that now and need to research/rethink.
Still, the whole "finish it by the end of the year" thing was worthwhile because the inspiration factor had me do lots of work in an enthusiastic mood. I recently came up with a new name for ideas like that: it's called a "pingalation image" because while imagining it you can "pingalate" out of bed in the morning, which is when you get up without even thinking about it because you're thinking of what you're going to do. As opposed to just getting out of bed, which may take effort.
