This came round - it's from a friend of a friend of mine. It's OK to put it around on the web / on lists etc.
"How do you reconcile your faith with your sexuality?
I'm doing research into what it's like being religious and gay for a BBC local radio series.
I'd like to hear from gay Muslims, Sikhs, Jains or Hindus about what their faith means to them and how they interpret what their holy books say about homosexuality.
The aim is to broaden the debate away from the Anglican church's arguments over gay clergy and to look at how other faiths deal with the issue of homosexuality.
This is a unique opportunity to highlight the experiences of people who are a minority within a minority.
At the moment, I'm just wanting to hear from people to get a better idea of what the main issues are for different communities.
Any communication will be strictly confidential and without any obligations. If you'd like to help, please email me on: jkumah at yahoo dot com"
