plans and discussions
Aug. 9th, 2002 06:20 pmMet with K today to plan some bisexuality awareness training that we're doing in October. We wanted to identify areas where we differ politically, so we can present our different versions coherently. V interesting conversation! and we had half our meeting walking along the river. Really enjoyed it. We also (at the beginning of the afternoon) met with the person who's organising the day, and they seem really cool.
The workshop should be interesting - we are training some experienced trainers, just to bring them up to speed on bisexuality, and they're all activists, so with any luck they'll have some thought-provoking questions for us. I was a bit scared before, because we already know that most of them identify as lesbian, and I get "biphobia-phobia" around lesbians sometimes. But I'm quite looking forward to it now.
