1. [livejournal.com profile] mjwin has set up a Yahoo group to discuss possibilities for a UK bi phone line and/or for educating lesbian & gay switchboards. More in this entry.

2. A researcher from the BBC is looking for people to talk to about polyamory. It's only research at this stage, so you needn't want to go on the telly yourself in order to contribute. More in this entry.

3. Had been meaning to mention this... apparently Unison's Lesbian & Gay conference towards the end of 2003 passed by a "significant majority" the resolution to become a LGBT group. That doesn't actually change the rules, the rule change has to be done by the union's main conference, but it sounds like that's purely a formality. Hurrah!

[Background for those who didn't know: Unison's Lesbian & Gay self-organisation (a sort of union-wide subgroup) was famous/notorious in the UK bi community a few years ago for explicitly voting to "support bisexuals in organising separately" :-/ - this despite the fact that there already were bi people involved with it at the time. Unison is a trade union, I think one of the biggest in the UK. So this decision has bi-historical significance :-) ]
