NUS bi day cancelled

36, Ash and I went off to Nottingham University union building yesterday afternoon, where I was due to speak at the NUS "bi networking day".
It was due to start at 2pm, and at 1.30 we were the only ones there. A bit later, a would-be participant turned up, and around 2 o'clock, T arrived - the organiser who'd recruited me to speak.
We all hung around a bit more. Then T tried calling a couple of people (but no-one was answering), then went off and spoke to someone in the building, and came back saying that apparently the room booking (and by implication, the whole event) had been cancelled by one of the other co-organisers!
So off we all went home again...
