Unison LG group adds B & T

"Just to let you know that the LGBT rule change was passed by an overwhelming majority at this year's UNISON National Delegate Conference; with the union also committing itself to an inclusive LGBT equalities agenda.
As a result we now have a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender self organised group after a long and hard fought campaign.
As a result all group meetings as well as the National Conference will be open to all bi and trans members and there is a specific commitment to ensuring that bi and trans members have visibility within both the Conference and the National Committee.
Just trying to spread the news as LGBT delegates will now be eligible to apply for places at the Belfast LGBT Conference in November - closing date 29th September, so if you know of any bisexual members who would wish to participate please pass on the info.
