Advice and opinions please... Which free ISPs are the best (or least worst, as the case may be)? The only one I can even think of is Freeserve.
It has to allow multiple email addresses for different people using the computer, though not necessarily unlimited names, in fact not necessarily very many at all - probably two or three, maybe four.
Thanks in advance for clues!

Date: 2004-02-12 12:35 pm (UTC)1. don't go with BT they sell your email address to spammers, i know cos i have to spam to an address i've never used to send an email cos it isn't set up on my pc and have never given out to anyone.
2. I've just switched to Virgin and they seem ok, with there unlimited hrs package you get 5 email addresses but i don't know if this varies with what package you choose.
3. Plus net are also recommended by several people and you can get unlimted email addresses there as well, they would all have the same bit after the @ though.

anyway thanks for the info - interesting about BT...

Date: 2004-02-12 03:52 pm (UTC)Yes, I think that's what I meant (inasmuch as I had any idea what I meant) :-)
It's for someone who's not super organised with money (e.g. has had their land line cut off several times in the last few years), so the idea is for them not to have another bill to forget to pay :-/
Though, I must admit, it's not very clear yet how much surfing they'll ever do (this'll be the first time they've had access to the net from home), so another price structure might in fact prove cheaper in the long run.
